What's Sunday Like?
Follow the Hope signs to the main parking lot at La Cumbre Junior High. There's no charge for parking and no reserved parking spots, so park anywhere you'd like!
As you start walking towards the building, you'll be greeted by some friendly faces with a name tag for you. At Hope, we all wear name tags. Ever just meet someone and already forget their name? Don't worry, it won't happen on our watch.
Each week we get fresh coffee and treats for everyone to enjoy. The refreshments pop-up tent is located outside before you enter the building.
The information center pop-up tent is located outside before you enter the building. This is our main hub for information, they can answer questions, help you find where you need to go, pick up your gift as a first time guest, and anything else you need!
Through the main entrance, there's some doors on the right hand side, that's the Auditorium. As you enter, someone will hand you a program that has some helpful information in it, as well as a Connection Card. We'd love for you to fill it out with as much information as you'd like so we can get to know you better.
Through the main entrance at the end of the hallway you'll find the Kids Check-in Table. There we'll meet your family, check your child in, answer any questions, and direct you to their age-appropriate room. We'll ask for some basic information: parent or guardian's name, kids names and birthdate, contact phone number, and any special instructions for your child. This is to ensure their safety at all times, and to equip us to give them the best possible experience!
When to arrive
If you have kids, we suggest arriving 10 minutes early to get them checked in. We have free coffee and refreshments available to grab as a snack before you even enter the building, or grab a seat in the Auditorium and relax for a minute.
What to expect
We'll meet together for 60-75 minutes, starting with music from our live band and singers. The words will be on the screen so you can sing along, or just listen. Most people stand, but feel free to sit too. After some music, we might talk a little about some upcoming events or things happening at Hope. We receive an offering each week, but as our guest, we don't want you to feel pressured to give. You can just pass the bucket to the person next to you, we promise no one will judge you. Someone will get up and share from the Bible for a few minutes and usually conclude with another song or a prayer.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR
The all-important question! Dress comfortably. Most people like to dress casually, although there's some who like to dress up too.
