Over the past 3 years, we've seen over 140 young adults give their lives to Jesus. Your giving is changing the course of history locally and globally.
Why We Give
When we devote our lives to Jesus, we begin the pursuit of living like Him. One of the most extraordinary and defining characteristics of Jesus is his radical generosity that saved the world:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
Similarly, we are called to be generous and utilize our person finances to gift the lost eternal life with Jesus. Thus, we give faithfully and selflessly.
Many start with a tithe, or 10% of your income. Others give well over 10% because ministries like Hope in Santa Barbara cannot survive without courageous donors.

How do I give?
There are a lot of ways you can give! You can give by check, debit card, or with a credit card by clicking this link.
You can also give with assets, such as stocks & mutual funds, charitable gift annuities (CGAs), cryptocurrency or real estate. For assistance with donation of an asset, please contact info@hopesb.com.
How are my tithes and offerings being used?
Your generosity powers Hope's mission right here in Santa Barbara. Every gift helps us share the hope of Jesus through faith-inspiring worship, life-changing community, and outreach that transforms lives.
Your gift is also empowering God’s work globally because Hope plays a key role in supporting ministries around the world that feed the hungry, rescue and restore women who have been trafficked, and minister to people in developing countries.

How do I make changes to my recurring donation?
You can make changes to your recurring donation via logging into the Church Center app or emailing us at info@hopesb.com.
How are electronic donations processed?
Hope's payment portal features the very best secure payment encryption technology.
Is my giving tax deductible?
Yes, Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
End-of-year contributions
You can give your year-end contributions online or in person at our Alive campus. Online contributions made by midnight on December 31 and mail in contributions that are postmarked by December 31 are recorded as contributions for that same year.
All contributions received or postmarked after December 31 are recorded as contributions for the following year.
