Volunteer Opportunities in Santa Barbara

We believe volunteering in our community goes far beyond Sunday mornings, which is why we value supporting organizations here in Santa Barbara. Through these partnerships, we have opportunities to meet real needs of our community.

Hope 4 Kids Early Learning Center

One of the many ways we support the community of Santa Barbara is through our local preschool, Hope 4 Kids Early Learning Center. Hope 4 Kids is a faith-based, nature-centered quality program for children ages birth through kindergarten. Volunteers range in age from Junior High School students who may be volunteering for community service or to complete a badge for a service organization through retired persons who want to make a difference.

Hope 4 Kids is building a community of people who are committed to the mission of partnering with families to help children reach their full potential. Click here for more info.

Hope Refuge Center

The mission of Hope Refuge is to provide a retreat center where programs and services are offered in a safe supportive atmosphere.  They collaborate with state and local anti-trafficking organizations to create opportunities where survivors are empowered to think forward towards an exceptional future. Loads of Love

Loads of Love is a way of caring for people who are struggling financially by assisting them launder their own clothes. Loads of Love serves people that are living on the streets, in vehicles, in shelters or living with multiple families in a single family dwelling due to financial hardship.

Upon arriving at the laundromat they are met by caring community volunteers (that's you!) that provide the money and laundry detergent needed to launder their clothes. Volunteers also focus on building relationships and provide a human connection often not experienced by those who live in poverty. Click here for more info.
